A Life Built on Hard Work, Growth, and Giving Back

Jared McBrearty is a Connecticut native who has spent most of his life in central Connecticut, building both a career and a reputation rooted in hard work. He began working at just 11 years old, taking on odd jobs and farm work, and entered the construction industry at 16 through concrete work. Over time, he advanced to foreman and supervisor roles before starting his own concrete business in 2011.

When winter slowed construction, Jared pivoted to interior renovations with a close friend, later becoming co-owner of A1 Home Improvement. Over the past 15 years, he has expanded into home renovations and property investments, specializing in house flips. Since officially joining A1 in 2022, the company’s revenue has grown four to five times, with major expansion in roofing, siding, and windows.

Jared contributes across marketing, sales, and operations, while mentoring others. He helped launch A1 Solar, now a trusted Connecticut contractor. A devoted father, reader, and community volunteer, Jared leads with purpose on and off the job site.
