From Farm Fields to Foundations: The Journey of Jared McBrearty

Jared McBrearty is a proud Connecticut native who has spent most of his life in central Connecticut, building not just homes, but a legacy of hard work and growth. His work ethic started early—at just 11 years old—doing odd jobs and picking vegetables on a local farm during the summers. By 16, he entered the construction world through concrete work, steadily rising from laborer to foreman and eventually into supervisory roles.

In 2011, Jared launched his first concrete construction business. When winter slowed outdoor work, he and a close friend began tackling interior renovations—an effort that later evolved into A1 Home Improvement. Over the past 15 years, Jared shifted his focus toward home renovations and property investments, including successful house flips. After officially joining A1 Home Improvement in 2022, the company’s revenue grew four to five times, with major expansions in roofing, siding, and windows.

Jared contributes across marketing, sales, and operational improvements, and he’s passionate about mentoring others. An avid reader, devoted father, and community volunteer, Jared continues to build—with purpose, integrity, and vision.
