Jared McBrearty: A Life Built on Work Ethic, Growth, and Community

Jared McBrearty is a lifelong Connecticut native who has spent most of his years in central Connecticut, building a career defined by dedication and steady growth. His work journey began early—at just 11 years old—doing odd jobs and working on a local farm picking vegetables during the summer. Those early experiences shaped the strong work ethic that still drives him today.

At 16, Jared entered the construction industry through concrete work, quickly advancing into foreman and supervisor roles at several companies. In 2011, he launched his first concrete construction business. When winter seasons slowed concrete work, he transitioned into interior renovations with a close friend, who later became his co-owner at A1 Home Improvement.

Over the last 15 years, Jared shifted his focus toward home renovations and property investments, particularly house flipping. He officially joined A1 Home Improvement in 2022, helping grow company revenue by four to five times while expanding roofing, siding, and window divisions.

Jared contributes across marketing, sales, and operational improvements, and he’s passionate about mentoring others. An avid reader, devoted father, and active community member, Jared continues to build success with purpose—both professionally and personally.
